Monochromic Magic: black magic

Well, my friends, if color is known to add a vivid sensation by reflecting light and adding an emotional meaning, then to me black is the ultimate color!

To me, black reflects more than just lights; it reflects a status and a style; It also adds meaning so unique mixed with a sensation of glittering glamour. I know this defies science but, oh well! I have proof!

Check out two outfits I put together to show black in action.

The first outfit is by Three__dots: black abaya with olive color details, faux-leather and plastic touches. This abaya imposes a casual, sport-chic style that inspired me to put together a less conventional look; I chose to wear a cap that compliments my abaya and takes the whole outfit to a funkier side.

In the second outfit we have an ensemble also by Three__dots: Abaya with culottes pants that are sold together as 1 outfit. I admire this ensemble because of its versatility, comfort and practicality. This is ideal for the working lady who needs quick solutions at times. With every top I choose, a certain mood is implied, all elegant, comfy and stylish.

So, who was saying black is dull, grim and boring again?
