Silver Lining

I think styling a look is truly a creative process: you should never be afraid to experiment with your outfit; the possibilities are endless and the results could just be superb!

Check out this look I put together by mixing colors that naturally compliment each other.

Let me start by my featured piece: my abaya. This is a piece by ThreeDots, a young Emirati brand. What first caught my eye is the brand’s signature on the top back of every piece: 3 coloured stones resembling the brand’s story: three sisters who all worked together to bring this brand to life; three dots that imply a continuous, never-ending process of creativity, beauty and style. It is clear to me that the designer is not afraid to revisit the traditional and add her special touch. The abaya has interesting details in grey and in navy blue. These details add color to the dominant black without compromising its elegance. What to wear under this stylish piece, you ask?

The silver ensemble I chose feels silky and cool; it just lights up the whole outfit and reflects light so dynamically as I move.

My slippers give this a comfy, casual feel but Zara’s silver chemise and skirt keep it chic.

Simply exchange the slippers for heels and your look will be more suitable for a dressy yet
